Our research focuses on how emotions and culture mutually constitute each other. Specifically, we are interested in how cultural tendencies and situational factors interact to shape the physiological, subjective, and expressive aspects of emotional responding and social support on healthy and clinical populations. We use multiple measures (self-report, measures of facial behavior, and physiological responding) and methods (surveys, experiments, momentary sampling studies) in our research.
As of 3/23/16 we are currently looking for new RAs to join our team. If you are interested please send a brief introduction email about your background and interests as well your resume to Professor Chentsova-Dutton (yuliacd[at]gmail[dot]com). Thanks!
